Job Description

Job : Assistant Airport Manager
Location : Îles-de-la-Madeleine

Founded in 1988, Aéropro has been operating the Îles-de-la-Madeleine Airport for nearly 20 years and is currently seeking an Assistant Airport Manager to fill a permanent position responsible for airport operations and maintenance.

The Assistant Airport Manager will support the General Manager in ensuring the proper execution of work required by government authorities. In addition, the Assistant Manager will oversee all personnel involved in airport maintenance while also performing the following tasks:

Responsibilities

  • Implement the measures outlined in the Emergency Response Plan and Wildlife Management Plan;
  • Patrol the terminal building and airside areas;
  • Prepare reports and maintain records related to the maintenance program.

Profil

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an airport environment;
  • High school diploma (Secondary V);
  • Hold a security clearance;
  • Possessing a valid Class 3 driver’s license would be an asset;
  • Experience operating heavy machinery would be an asset;
  • Versatility and good judgment;
  • Strong sense of responsibility;

Conditions

  • Permanent full-time position;
  • Variable work schedule of 40 hours per week
  • Compensation: $30.00/hour
  • 10 paid sick days;
  • Group insurance, life insurance, long-term disability coverage;
  • On-call cellphone allowance;
